12-year NBA veteran Jason Collins (last seen playing for the Washington Wizards and will be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason), decided to be the first active NBA player to come out of the closet. He chose to do so by penning this fascinating piece that you will be reading in an upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated.
