The lowdown of Sports5's NCAA coverage

The NCAA opened their collegiate basketball season last Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena, opening with San Beda and San Sebastian taking victories.

Here is how Sports5 will handle the coverage:

1. The first three weekday gamedays (today, July 2 and 4) will have their telecast start at 12nn for the first game and 2pm for the second. (Both games will be shown LIVE on AksyonTV, with TV5 only showing the second game LIVE. 

2. The normal schedule (starting this weekend) will be Saturdays at 2:30pm, MWF at 2pm and 4pm. Same weekday protocols as seen on 1.

3. Livestreaming of games will take place. Details are on here, while encore telecasts can be seen on HYPER..

4. Handling play-by-play duties will be either of these guys: Magoo Marjon, Aaron Atayde, James Velasquez, Chiqui Reyes and Nikko Ramos.

5. Handling analyst duties: Ronnie Magsanoc, LA Mumar, Xavier Nunag, Don Allado, RenRen Ritualo, Eric Reyes, Richard del Rosario and Dominic Uy.

6. Doing courtside work: Justin Sulit, Mara Aquino, Denise Tan, Apple David and Ai dela Cruz.
